The driveway delivered by the builder is often laid fast, on a minimal base, so the house is ready on time. - Who does the work: a certified contractor hired by the City.
- 2026 fees, taxes included: $43 administration; sawing, $235.43 mobilization + $56.63 per metre; curb rebuild, $362.21 per metre.
- Order of work: if you have pavers, remove them 0.3 m behind the curb; the new paving comes after the sawing.
- Maximum width of a driveway and curb cut: the smaller of 7 m or 50% of the lot width. One access if the frontage is under 30 m.
- Greening: at least 40% of the front yard in vegetation.
- Allowed materials: asphalt, concrete, pavers, open-cell pavers, porous asphalt, porous concrete, permeable pavers, reinforced grass.
